Riviera Maya

PARAISO DE LA BONITA

What kind of person would enjoy the Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita?
Those looking for the ultimate luxury experience - where everything is included without quality being compromised in any way. Sociable couples and families looking for a resort close to Cancun Airport, but with all the exclusivity of the Riviera Maya. Spa lovers - the resort has the first Thalassotherapy center in Mexico, plus an anti-aging center.

Can guests expect a proper pampering?
Pampering to the extreme - fresh fruit cocktails on the beach, champagne in your room, complimentary gourmet meals whenever and wherever you like, chauffeur driven transfers, complimentary unlimited worldwide calls, Temazcal steam room, massage, hydrothalasso pool, daily afternoon tea, complimentary laundry service. The staff are very accommodating and have a friendly banter with guests and each other.

What really sets it apart from the rest?
The resort is large enough to give you a choice of restaurants and settings to make longer stays enjoyable - each has a very different feel. Atmosphere! Harp players with breakfast, Mexican singers by the pool and guitarists with dinner. The rooms all have stunning ocean views as they are spread out along the length of the beach, each with a sunny terrace and some with plunge pool. The wildlife - parrots, macaws, iguanas, geckos, coy fish and even a crocodile.

Which room do we choose?
All 90 rooms are actually lavish oceanfront suites with sitting room, private terrace and an extravagant bathroom. You can choose which floor you would prefer, the ground floor suites have a plunge pool, whilst the 2nd and 3rd floor suites offer the most breathtaking sea views. For families or groups of friends, there are two bedroom Master Suites which share a lounge and feature two king beds. The resort does now accept children and the all-inclusive aspect would provide a refreshing break for parents - although there is currently no kids’ program.

How is the food?
There is a complete range of dining options to suit your mood. Prebook a table at La Canoa, the AAA 4 Diamond award-winning gourmet restaurant, you will experience Paraiso's unique "Cuisine de los Soles", a fusion of styles based on spices and chilies used in the cuisine of warm-weather countries. Try out the Sushi & Ceviche Bar which offers beach and poolside service. Or
Restaurant Kaax for à la carte Mexican cuisine in an authentic atmosphere. Finally, El Chiringuito Beachside Grill offers a variety of fresh seafood, chicken and grilled favorites on a wood fire using the native hardwood “Zapote” and Mesquite.

What is there to do?
Enjoy a sunset tour on Paraiso’s 48 ft. private luxury catamaran with “Nouvelle Cuisine” hors d’oeuvres and champagne. Or you could sneak away to enjoy some tennis, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking or yoga - or maybe wine tasting and culinary classes.

What are the drawbacks?
Very difficult to fault, but the ‘themed’ rooms - Italian, African etc. are a little old-fashioned and could do with an update.
